Top Notch!, After becoming an Onkyo "head" for years, I am very impressed by 9100. I was replacing a mis-mash of Infinity / Bose speakers and an Onkyo TX-DS575 receiver. My old setup sounded good, but WOW, my new setup sounds even better!
I tried to upgrade my old configuration with either speakers or an amp again. After reading about 9100, I took the plunge. I must say that I am * very * happy! The package came quickly and was delivered in good condition. The color-coded cables and manual seemed fairly straightforward, although the main manual is a bit 'cryptic (not all?). The cables supplied are a bit 'too short and ridiculously thin - I had some Monster Cable from Home Depot (16ga) for peace of mind. For reference, / BluRay my game system is a PlayStation 3, Comcast Motorola HD DVR, Pioneer unit XM2Go, iPod Classic 80 GB and a Sony CD player reference (early 90's vintage). DVD and PS3 are connected through. Optical input. The rest are using RCA.

Best Wireless System Todate, Let me start by saying that he was just looking for some good wireless speakers, when I arrived on the Sonos system. It seems that all speakers sound website was an announcement or comment on this system. I went to the site and saw the Sonos demo and I was impressed.

The Sonos system is one of the few consensus electronics in my house, my wife. We use it in conjunction with Pandora Radio Music and we love it. Only thing I lament is the distance between the wireless LAN. I did get to buy a Sonos Bride 100 ($ 99.00) on the expansion of the players. The area Bride is a must if you live in a big house / apartment or a place of inner wall is instead of plasterboard.

Polk Audio Monitor Series - Great Value!, In my room I opted for the monitors of all including the Polk Audio Monitor Series CS1 Center Channel Speaker (Single, Black) Polk Audio Monitor Series PSW10 10-inch Subwoofer (Single, Black) and two sets of Polk Audio Monitor 40 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Black). Most of the time I have chance to really crank this sub, and fortunately do not know. Even with the gain turned down pretty far, it offers deep, shaking lows. Mine is on the floor of a box to isolate the neighbors and they never complained. I would like you used a digital coaxial instead of left / right channel RCA jacks and a number of institutions do not seem to make any difference in my room. Woofer has an automatic setting that switches on when you need it and keep it off when the show or movie has not yet, but I noticed that there is still a little 'buzz from the receiver after I, up to hours. I keep it on hand and flip the switch OFF, then back to the car, but it's a little 'frustrating, because sometimes I forget it, and that means higher energy bills. Attractive and easy to hide, if necessary, a great value when used in a small room or multi-use room in an apartment / house, or if you just want a good sound from a small to medium sized package. These are always of good quality speakers and Polk has a good job of updating the look done and remain competitive.
